    English Adventures

English Adventures presents a thoughtful, balanced approach to English learning, incorporating the best of both traditional and holistic practices. It covers all of the language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), as well as grammar and vocabulary. The program takes the form of an adventure game, allowing students to work at their own pace and move freely in an interactive environment. English Adventures immerses children in a natural and authentic environment, presenting a series of adventure stories, chants, songs, and texts to provide meaningful context, while at the same time introducing them to the sounds of letters, letter combinations, and the creation of words from these sounds (phonics). The learning path is made up of Units (discrete lessons that focus on the 4 skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking). Each unit is intended to serve as a single lesson of approximately 30-40 minutes. The units increase in difficulty as the student progresses through the program.
